Yoga can have a profound effect on an individual’s well-being and psychological health. Studies have proven that a regular yoga practice, including deep breathing, guided imagery, affirmations, and modified yoga postures, cuts episodes of irregular heartbeat by half, boosts heart health by strengthening the parasympathetic nervous system, and lowers a patient’s level of inflammation while easing them into a healthier lifestyle.
Classes taught by Heidi Scholz, a Certified Cardiac Medical Yoga Teacher. Heidi has been practicing yoga for 6 years, and is a RYT 200 hour level. She enjoys helping students find their paths to health and harmony in their lives, and respects and works with student’s personal limitations. Heidi lives in Dripping Springs where she teaches out of her studio. She is happy to be offering this series to the community of Wimberley.
Chairs are used in this yoga series and pre-registration is required. Please contact Becky at 512-663-4278 for more information and registration.
